Reminders By Valamas is a simple alarm reminder app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.

Data Collected

The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Microphone

The app requests microphone access solely to let you record personal voice reminders (e.g. "Take pills"). Recordings are saved only to your device's private storage and are never uploaded, shared, or accessed by anyone other than you. Microphone access is only used while you are actively recording inside the app.

Voice Recordings

• Stored in the app's private folder on your device.
• Not visible in your gallery or file manager.
• Deleted when you delete the recording inside the app, or when you uninstall the app.
• Never uploaded or shared.

In-App Purchases

Pro upgrades are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not see, store, or handle any payment information.

Analytics & Tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or any form of tracking.

Permissions

• RECORD_AUDIO — to record personal voice reminders (optional feature).
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — to fire reminders at the exact time you set.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore your alarms after the device restarts.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to play the chime sound reliably in the background.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — required by Android while a foreground service is running; no visible notifications are shown to you.

Children

This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
